When reading through Mr. Lucas's blog not to much surprised me… the normal ratings of anyone with a strong opinion. But one thing did strike me as odd, for what seems to be a well educated man. Having sex, and not caring weather the person is HIV positive as long as there is a condom. My biggest question to him is, what if it breaks? What if it comes off? To me there are to many what ifs to be taking that chance. HIV is not something that you can just take a morning after pill and poof it will no longer occur. It's something that will determine the rest of your life, and death for that matter. Unfortunately we are not all Magic Johnson, we can't get the cure for AIDS. This doesn't pertain just the gay community. But to anyone that is having sex, I want to know if there is potential for my partner to give me a rather life changing and threatening disease. What is the argument against it? Condoms work? Well according to

Brown
University there is a chance of "1 in 105 during anal sex" that the condom will break. And that is IF the condom is put on correctly. So while Mr. Lucas finds no reason to "freak out" when someone is positive as long as there is a condom is involved.. I'll continue to ask and protect myself in any way possible.***************So I suppose my question to Mr. Lucas is this, why is there no reason to freak out if there is still potential risk of contracting the disease?
