And the lightbulb turns on over Washington
Yes, Finally the government comes up with a way to prevent the sex sites and erotic teletubies from popping up when my 7 and 10 year old nephews search the sites. Really it's about time. It's just to bad it's still a little far from reality. There is what a 100 gazillion websites there, it's going to be hard. Or so everyone says.
Please correct me if I am wrong, maybe I'm not up on my technology, but hasn't AOL's parental controls been doing this for a while? Isn'tabout time the government took a step there. No, I'm not agreeing with everything in the article about the government controls, but honestly, it's about time something was done. Unless I type in "porn" or some synonym.. I really don't want to see something like that.
Now can we PLEASE get rid of those stupid emails with the subject like "hey haven't seen you since high-school" then open up to a full frontal nude of a rather unattractive person? Because really, I have my filter set to the highest level, and those little sneaks always seem to get through asking me to grow my penis… but guess what ladies and gentlemen, I'm female.
